Bethany, MO: Despite living in a small town and frequently passing numerous farms as I drive to nearby communities, I have surprisingly little knowledge of what day-to-day life is like on a farm. Hoping to gain a better understanding of where my food comes from, and maybe pick up some new skills, I found a local farmer willing to take on a greenhorn for the day as his newest farmhand.–Written by Caleb Osmon
