Bringing some Thanksgiving cheer: Volunteers gathered at the New Hampton Christian Church on Nov. 22 to prepare food baskets to be delivered to families in the Harrison, Gentry and Worth County area. Some 475 food baskets with turkeys, ham and other fixings were prepared during the operation. Several baskets were delivered later in the afternoon at the Bethany Public Library garage. The project has been an annual Thanksgiving tradition for about 20 years.
