Bethany, MO: Six Bethany residents, including four children, received minor injuries in a rear-end accident Saturday near Brookfield.
The Highway Patrol reported that a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Terry Gilmore, 59, of Brookfield was slowing down on U.S. 36 while preparing to make a right turn when the vehicle was struck from behind by a 2003 Chrysler van driven by Jessica J. Padgett, 33, of Bethany. Eight people were taken by Linn County ambulance to Pershing Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
