Bethany, MO: South Harrison graduate Brooklyn Ellis directs the Northwest Missouri State University Marching Bearcats during a recent performance. Brooklyn, the daughter of Travis and Courtney Ellis, was chosen as the drum major for the NWMSU band at the beginning of the year. She has been a member of the band for three years and previously played saxophone. Among other honors, Brooklyn was chosen as drum major for the Band of America in the Rose Bowl parade in Pasadena.--Submitted photo
