Bethany, MO: The Bill and Liz Hogan Independence Day Parade kicked off at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4. Just before the parade, attendees were treated to free food and drinks, and were able to participate in the hot dog eating contest and pet show. In the hot dog eating competition, Lee Miles won the 12 & Under category, and Ethan Coe won the 13 & Over group. Phil Conger, alongside his wife Kathy Conger, was introduced as this year’s Grand Marshall, and the parade began.
defThe Worthy Rebels softball team brought out some big energy as the parade cruised through Main Street. The girls were all smiles and cheers as they threw popsicles to spectators. The parade carried on through Main Street before turning and traveling up to the Memorial Park, where it passed through and looped around, finishing its run back at the First Baptist Church.aultdefaultdeThe parade itself was quite a show. It started at the First Baptist Church, with a wide variety of vehicles participating in the event.
