Bethany, MO: The Little League kickoff event took place over the weekend, with crowds of people gathering in the South Harrison high school gym to see the teams as they were announced. The teams came together on Sunday afternoon to celebrate. The event was catered by the Pettijohn Auto Center who were serving hot dogs and giving out water to everyone who participated. Pettijohn’s also donated $1,000 to the Bethany Baseball Association from the Chevy Test Drive fundraiser that they had held the weeks before. There were a total of 18 teams this year with around 150 kids participating.
