
Earth science students gather around one of the two signs posted at the entrance to the school, as they begin their landscaping project. When the project is completed the students will have planted over 500 native grasses and forbs at the local high school, turning sections of unused grassy space into usable wildlife areas for birds, small mammals, and pollinating insects..
