From the Office of Harrison County’s Local Election Authority
If you are not registered to vote in the State of Missouri, are at least 17.5 years of age and will be 18 years of age on Election Day, a United States citizen and a Missouri resident, there is still time to register to vote for the November 3, 2026, General Election. The LAST DAY to register to vote for the General Election is Wednesday, October 7, 2026, by 5:00 P.M. Mail voter registration applications to Harrison Courthouse, Attn: Local Election Authority, PO Box 525, Bethany, MO 64424. For in-person registration, the Harrison County Local Election Authority’s office will remain open until 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
Harrison County Local Election Authority encourages voters to review important deadlines and voting options well in advance of Election Day:
•Wednesday, October 7, 2026 – last day to register to vote in the November 3, 2026 General Election. The County Clerk/Local Election Authority’s office will be open until 5:00 P.M. to accept new voter registrations.
•Tuesday, October 20, 2026 – first day of in-person, no-excuse absentee voting at the County Clerk/Local Election Authority’s office.
•Wednesday, October 21, 2026 – last day to request an absentee ballot by mail. The County Clerk/Local Election Authority’s office will be open until 5:00 P.M. to accept absentee ballot requests.
•Saturday, October 31, 2026 – County Clerk/Local Election Authority’s office is open from 8:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. for in person, no-excuse, absentee voting for the November 3, 2026 General Election. Please use the East or South doors to enter to vote.
•Monday, November 2, 2026 – County Clerk/Local Election Authority’s office is open from 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. for in person, no-excuse, absentee voting for the November 3, 2026 General Election. •Tuesday, November 3, 2026 – Election Day! The polls will be open from 6:00 A.M. – 7:00 P.M. To
