Harrison County, MO: The Northwest Missouri State Fair opened over Labor Day weekend, bringing packed crowds, laughter, and hot conditions to the fairgrounds in Bethany. Amped Up Professional bull riding returned to the 2026 fair on Thursday during Family Day, when admission was free, and once again brought out large crowds. Before fairgoers could take in the bull riding, the crowd was treated to mutton busting. An event where pint-size cowboys and girls could try their hand at hanging onto bucking sheep. Later in the night the Amped Up bull riders performed in front of the grandstands as cowboys tested their strength and mettle as they fought to hold onto a bucking bull for eight seconds.
