Mercer, MO: Shirley L. Graham, 90, Mercer, MO passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026, at a Princeton, MO nursing home.
She was born on October 12, 1935, in Des Moines, IA the daughter of Arthur and Esther Graves.
On September 23, 1966, she married Basil C. Graham, Jr. in Dakota City, NE. He preceded her in death on September 21, 2019.
Shirley grew up in Des Moines and attended Lincoln High School in Des Moines, IA. She worked as a factory worker and a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gilbert and Billy Graves; and sisters, Virginia Murphy and Jeanie Jacobson.
Shirley is survived by her children, Scott (Julie) Graham, Mercer, MO, Billie (Mike) Ragan, Mercer, MO, Bonnie (Dick) Korleski, Klemme, IA, Bobbie Graham, Klemme IA, Michael (Feves) Blake, Des Moines, IA, Cindy (John) Pogue, Idaho, and Diana (Tony) Dominguez, Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Kaden and Carter Graham, Avery (Levi) Alden, Mitch Ragan, Travis (Rose) Korleski, Allyson (Kevin) Been, Richard (Jayde) Korleski, Kaitlyn Korleski, Lisa (Doug) Blake, Chris Pogue, Jason Blake, Melissa (Thomas) Gruver, and Wesley James; 16 great grandchildren; her only surviving sibling, Richard Graves of Norwalk, IA and her nephew, Ken Murphy of Des Moines, IA both of whom she enjoyed spending many visits with; and many nieces and nephews.
Shirley has been cremated under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Princeton, MO. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18 at the family farm, 21695 Arcadia St., Mercer, MO 64661. There is no scheduled family visitation.
