Cameron, MO: Margaret Ann Crabtree, 89, Cameron, MO (formerly of Bethany, MO) passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, at a St. Joseph, MO nursing home.
She was born on May 9, 1937, in Bethany, MO the daughter of Ralph Pete and Almina Jean (Sweeten) Kennedy.
On March 16, 1957, she married Edward Jack Crabtree. He preceded her in death.
Margaret was a graduate of Bethany High School and attended Missouri Western State College receiving her bachelor’s degree and then began work as a schoolteacher.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Pamela Kay Pankau; sisters, Peggy Neil and Alice Kennedy; and infant grandson, Chandler James Murphy.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Shane) Murphy; grandsons, Brent and Andrew Pankau; sisters, Janet Polley and Judy Heitz; brother, James Kennedy; and sister-in-law, Jaynelle Schroff.
Graveside Services and Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11 in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
