Bethany, MO: Edgar Yovany Martinez-Ramirez of Olathe, Kansas, made his initial court appearance last Tuesday on charges of attempted child abduction. Martinez Ramirez, who was carrying Honduran documents during his arrest June 20 at the Maverik station in Bethany, made no response regarding his bond while appearing before Associate Circuit Judge Jay Hemenway. He is being held without bond in the Harrison County Jail.
