New Hampton, MO: Monty Dean Stanton, age 61, entered into Heaven on June 24,2026 at his home. He was born on August 22, 1964 in Albany, MO to Dannie and Pat (Christie) Stanton. He graduated from Martinsville High School in 1982.
On June 7, 1986 he married Cindy Andrews and had three children. Monty loved traveling for dance and baseball for his kids. He loved serving the Lord through mission trips, donating to youth groups, and NOMADS. He had a passion for hunting with family and friends.
He retired in 2022 after 30 years with Missouri American Water Company then moved back to the farm.
He was preceded in death by his wife Cindy (September 2017) and grandparents.
He is survived by his parents Pat and Dannie Stanton, children Miranda (Tyler) Tracy, Tyler Stanton, Trevor Stanton (Kayleigh Huss); grandchildren, Braxton and Raylynn Tracy, brother, Marty (Kathy) Stanton, sister, Melissa (Richard) Goucher, nieces and nephews.
Girlfriend, Cindy Shaffer, her family, Kelly (Jimmy) Jackson, Jameson Jackson, Christi Shaffer, David (Kelly) Shaffer, and Casey Shaffer (Kolt Cook). He was also known as grandpa to Everly, Emma, Riane, Mackenzie, William, Jasper, and Luke (Cindy’s grandkids).
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday,July 11th at the Martinsville Methodist Church in Martinsville, MO. Memorials may be made to the Martinsville Methodist Church and/or the youth group at Wyatt Park Christian Church (St. Joseph. MO), in care of Roberson Funeral Home P.O. Box 46 Bethany, MO.
