Bethany, MO: The City of Bethany hopes to remove a long-standing eyesore while gaining additional property after entering into an agreement to purchase a former concrete plant in Bethany.

This picture gives a rough idea what lots the City of Bethany will buy during a land transfer. The predominate area, virtually sets in the center of town, and has fallen into disrepair over time. The city’s plan is to clean up the grounds and use the building in the middle for departmental storage. At time of article the city has no plans for the area but discussed devoting some of the land to a “green space.”
