Rochester, MN: Ronda Faye Dube (Osmon) passed away on May 1, 2026, surrounded by her daughters at Mayo Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
Ronda was born on November 1, 1958, to Garvin and Emma (Marsh) Osmon as their sixth child and youngest daughter. She was spoiled by her older siblings and was nicknamed “Cork.”
Ronda married Joel Stratton in 1974, and two daughters, Brandy and Randee Lea, were born to this union. She later married Jack Dube on May 1, 1988, and together they welcomed their daughter, Samantha, completing her family.
Ronda began working at a young age making tow rope for Buzzard Gulch. She later worked at Dairy Queen, where she formed many lasting friendships. In 1990, she began her career at Bethany Eye Center, where she worked as an optician for over 30 years. She loved helping people feel fabulous in their glasses, and her coworkers became like family to her.
Ronda had a caring heart and was always ready to help others. She loved traveling with her family—whether it was Hawaii, Alaska, Europe, or road trips—but her favorite place was Clearwater. She was always eager for the next adventure and often said, “Let’s go!”
She was a devoted granny, nanny, and ma maw. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy. She was the family’s “SUPERSTAR” and passed this trait onto her grandchildren.
At the age of 42, Ronda was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. With the support of her family, she sought treatment at Mayo Clinic. On February 4, 2026, she received the gift of life through a liver transplant. She remained strong, smiling through every challenge and complication. She made many friends at Mayo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Garvin and Emma Osmon; her sister, Linda Sherer; niece, Stephanie Osmon; nephew, Gage Sherer; brother-in-law, Mike Sherer; and sister-in-law, Rhonda Osmon.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Dube; daughters Samantha (Ben Hess), Brandy (Scott Polley), and Randee (Bryan McDaniel); grandchildren Jessica, Taylor, Tyler, Rowdy, and Endora; great-grandchildren Cameron, Annika, Madalyn, Emily, Alexander, Nolan, and Theodore; as well as her brothers Larry (Joan), Marvin “Dean” (Darlene), Terry “Butch”, Randy (Cheryl), Ronald (Rita) and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 7 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Gaige Sherer Memorial Fund in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O.
