
Trenton, MO: Randall Kent Christie, 67, of Trenton, Mo., (formerly of Bethany, Mo.), passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at his home.
He was born on July 22, 1958, the second son of Robert and Bettie (Campbell) Christie.
Randy was a 1976 graduate of South Harrison High School. After graduation he went to work for Williams Pipeline Company and then the Union Pacific Railroad. Later in life he worked for Jamesport Builders until retirement.
Randy loved to hunt, fish, and hunt for arrowheads. He loved everything outdoors. He also had a special love for dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bettie Christie.
Randy is survived by his three daughters Lynnsey (Daniel) Betz, Trenton, Mo., Hali Christie, Columbia, Mo., and Samantha Christie, St. Joseph, Mo.; brother Robin (Anita) Christie, Bethany, Mo.; sister Regina Long, Bethany, Mo.; grandchildren Harley Parkhurst, Trenton, Mo., Layne Hamilton, Columbia, Mo. and Blaze Betz, Trenton, Mo.; and nieces Jessica Long (Philip), Bethany, Mo. and Jillian Long, Bethany, Mo. He also left behind his dog Tabby, several cousins, and friends that will greatly miss him.
The love of his life was his daughters and grandchildren. He worshipped them and thought the sun rose and set in them. Randy will be dearly missed by all.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Roberson Funeral Home in Bethany, Mo. Inurnment will follow in the Foster Cemetery in New Hampton, Mo. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Friends and family are all welcome to join a celebration of life at the New Hampton Firehouse following graveside services.
