Firefighters carry a commemorative American flag up a hill on 12th Street as the 3.4-mile walk begins through the streets of Bethany in memory of the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack.
First responders and other citizens gathered at the Bethany Fire Station prior to beginning their walk around the community on Thursday.
Bethany, MO: The Bethany Fire Department on Thursday evening led the fourth annual walk in remembrance of the 24th anniversary of the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001, that killed 2,977 Americans.
