Harrison County, MO: Circuit Court Judge Matthew Krohn’s hearing on a petition by Harrison County and the North Harrison Ambulance District for an injunction on NTA’s proposed contract with its non-profit to operate ambulances came to an end when an agreement was hammered out to place three North Harrison board members on the non-profit board.
The agreement came at about 8 p.m. Tuesday night after a four-hour hearing involving representatives for NTA, the county and North Harrison.
North Harrison, which will merge with NTA following an election on April 8, had previously been left out of discussions on the contract with NTA’s non-profit called North MO EMS to provide ambulance service during the transition to the combined district.
