Bethany, MO: Josh Kiralfy, assisted by his sister Kristin Dodge, have been repairing and repainting the old Burlington Northern Railroad depot at its new location in the park addition, across from the high school. The depot served the community for more than a century before the branch line from St. Joseph to Chariton, Iowa, was abandoned. Kiralfy will be replacing some of the windows while maintaining the original appearance of the building. The depot will be the center piece of the city’s plans to develop the park addition as a recreational and tourist attraction.--Republican-Clipper photo
