
Harrison County, MO: Harrison County residents voted Tuesday to establish a fulltime prosecutor’s office by a 3-1 margin and also authorized a 75-cent increase in the South Harrison school levy—but by a narrower margin.
These were some of the main issues in the Municipal Election. The Harrison County Clerk’s office reported on the unofficial returns from the election at about 10:50 p.m. Tuesday night.

Fulltime prosecuting attorney—Yes, 932; no, 302.
Harrison County Senior Tax question—Yes, 835; no, 376.
South Harrison C.A.R.E. tax issue—Yes, 409; no, 397.
Cainsville R-1 school board—Travis McLain, 64 votes, Elaina Doty, 49, and Kendra Euritt, 41, were elected to three positions on the school board over Rebecca Brown, 40, and Linda Gail Mattinson, 23.
Ridgeway R-5 school board—Zeb Cook, 77 votes, and Miles McGovney, 73, were elected to two 3-year terms on the school board over Shannon Williams who had 22. Jessie Fortner was unopposed for a two-year term on the board, receiving 90 votes.
North Harrison R-3—Hunter Hamaker, 143, Matt Graham, 133, and John Lueken, 133, won three 3-year terms on the board over Joe Bond, 126. Eric Richardson was unopposed for a two-year term on the board receiving 174 votes.
City of Cainsville—Cheyenne Francis, 40 votes, and Tara Robbins, 31 votes, were elected aldermen over Phoebe Everett who received 17 votes.
City of Ridgeway—Bridgette Kampman, 39 votes, and Joe Kerns, 38 votes, were elected to the board of aldermen over Regina Whitaker, 15, Ronnie Whitaker, 13, and Kenneth King, 11. The proposed use tax was rejected by a 29-33 vote.
Village of Eagleville—William Billy Briggs, 43 votes, Hunter Hamaker, 32 votes, and Dena Bourne, 30 votes, were elected to three chairs on the village board over Seth Lane, 19 votes, James Owens, 15 votes, and Michelle Briggs, 12 votes.
