Harrison County, MO: A race has developed in the August primary election for Harrison County circuit clerk and ex-officio recorder of deeds. Hilarie Vaughn of Cainsville has filed as a candidate in the Republican primary election. She will oppose Carla Hillyard for election to succeed retiring Circuit Clerk Sherece Eivins. In other county races, Glen Gentry of Gilman City will oppose Rick Smith of Bethany for presiding commissioner and Kerre Keith of Cainsville will face incumbent County Clerk Lee Ann Miles in the August primary.
