Ridgeway, MO: Theodora “Teddy” Francis Marie Luper, 93, of Ridgeway, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Lamoni Specialty Care in Lamoni, Iowa.
She was born on February 11, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Louis and Emma (Stverak) Auer. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Tim, and her siblings, Louis and Betty.
She graduated from Hancock High School in St. Louis, Mo. in 1949. She then worked at the Harrison County ASCS office and Bethany Vo-tech School.
On August 16, 1952, she married Charles Luper in Cascade, Colo. They were married for 70 years.
Teddy enjoyed gardening, playing cards, quilting, reading stories, writing, cooking, and being a Sunday School teacher.
She is survived by her children Bill Luper, Deb Grummert, and Jason Luper, five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and sister-in-law Henrietta Auer.
Funeral services were February 3, 2026 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, Mo.
