The silver street poles that circle the square in Bethany are beginning to show their age. The councilmen have restarted their efforts to replace theses rusting poles throughout the town square. Mike Sanders, electric supervisor for Bethany, showed the council what a new light pole could look like.
Bethany, MO: Mike Sanders, Bethany Electric superintendent, attended the recent city council meeting to answer any questions about the new street pole project. Last year the council put a plan into action to replace the sixteen silver street poles that encircle the square, after the old poles showed signs of aging. Sanders presented to the council a computer drawing of the proposed lighting poles.
