
Lawson, MO: William L Crouse (Bill) of Lawson, Mo., passed away December 29th, 2025 at 85 years of age. He was born to Esta & William Crouse. He grew up in Ridgeway and Cainsville, Mo., graduating in 1958 from Ridgeway.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Melba Jean Crouse from Lawson, Mo. Also preceded by grandson, Zachary Watkins from Cameron, Mo.
He is survived by a sister, Evelyn Osborn of Kansas City, Mo.; son, Philip Crouse, his wife Brenda; granddaughter, Ashley Cox & her husband Steve of Newbury Park, Calif.; great grandsons, Caleb, Joshua & Gideon; granddaughter, Rachel Caron and her husband Garrett of Fayetteville, Ark.; grandson, Andrew Crouse and his wife Taylor from Prairie Village, Kan.; daughter, Robin Smith and her husband Wade from Cameron, Mo.; granddaughter, CiJay Smith of St. Joseph, Mo.; grandson, Tyler Smith of Wichita, Kan.; son, Kevin Crouse from Plattsburg, Mo.; grandson, Jackson and granddaughter, Maggie.
He was a Boy Scout Tribe of the Mic-O-Say. He attended Northwest Missouri State College, he served in the US Army. During his career he worked for General Motors, Hesse Corporation, Brinks, Marion Laboratories & Crown Center in various roles.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards, traveling, spending time at his farm and getting various discounts. He enjoyed striking up conversations with strangers and had an infectious laugh. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Lawson.
Services were January 2, 2026, at the United Methodist Church in Lawson. Burial followed at Lawson Cemetery, Lawson. Mo.
