
Bethany, MO: Downtown Bethany will be packed with kids on Friday, Oct. 31, for the annual Scare on the Square, sponsored by the Bethany Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Halloween costume contest will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. with kids parading around the street with their scary outfits. Area businesses will be handing out Halloween treats during the parade.
Costume contest winners will receive bicycles. The sponsors include: Group 1, Big Time Cinema, Little Clara’s Garden and Gospel Farms. Three years and under, Fuel Depot, Taylor Heating and Cooling, Schroff Towing. Four to six-year-olds, McCall Family Dentistry and Pettijohn’s Auto Center. Seven- to 9-year-olds, and ten- to 12-year olds, Law Enforcement Assistance Fund.
The Chamber will also be announcing the winner of the Photo Trail event that has been held through the fall. The photo booths have been set up at 18 locations in Bethany.
