Walking to school

Bethany, MO: South Harrison held its annual national observance of “Walk to School Day” on Wednesday from Hy-Vee to the elementary school. Some 58 kids and 30 parents participated in the walk starting at 7:30 a.m. The walk, which is made yearly, promotes a healthy lifestyle for children in the area encouraging them to seek other means of travel to school by either walking or riding a bike.--Republican-Clipper photo
