
All along Oakland Street in Bethany, the ground next to the roadway is ripped open as earthmoving machines sit by the street. The city council approved the Transportation Alternatives Program, or TAP for short. This section project is called “Park to City Hall” and will leave the town with new sidewalks running from Memorial Park to City Hall. The next TAPs project will provide the city with sidewalks from the pool to the high school, with more sidewalks plans to follow.
Bethany, MO: In a former city hall meeting, the subject of Personal Time Off, or PTO, was brought up, with certain members of the staff questioning the actual policy. During the meeting a select few councilmen weighed in with their opinion on maintaining a PTO bank. The general consensus of the council seemed they did not approve of a banking system.
