Eagleville, MO: Francis Ann Eivins passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025 at Mosaic in Albany, Mo.
She was born to Myron and Lucille Johnston on June 12, 1041 in Eagleville, Mo. Later her sisters Marilyn, Virginia and Karen were born to make their family complete.
As a young girl she took piano lessons and her love for music grew. She loved playing for family and friends and at church, and they loved listening to her play.
She married Gerald Eivins on March 29, 1959. To this union they had four children Mike, Rick, Joann and Ed. She also graduated from North Harrison High School the same year.
She loved her family and was a stay at home mom for many years. She worked at Gradeland as a secretary, also for Roscoe Moulthrup and finally the first Christen Church until she passed away.
She had been doing dialysis for the past 11 years, and was very fond of two ladies, Jessica Ryann and Johnnie Shaffer. They always let me know when she wasn’t doing as well and we would end up at the Doctors office or the Hospital.
When she was able she always volunteered at Church functions, brought food, helped clean up, and visited people when they needed it. We had many cousins reunion’s in the basement of her Church, because it was big enough for all of us.
She also loved all animals and wanted to save every cat and dog she saw.
She was preceded in death by her parents Myron and Lucille Johnston, husband Gerald Eivins and her three sons, Mike, Rick and Ed.
She is survived by her daughter Joann (Randy) Purdun, three sisters Marilyn (Jim) Francis, Virginia Eitel and Karen (Jerry) Fowler, grandchilren Chris Purdun (Alicia), Jenni (Julian) Cordova, Megan (John) Taylor, Jonathan Eivins, and Kris Thoman and family. Great grandchildren, Griffen (Jaruwan and child) Eivins, Gavin and Malcom Cordova, Jordyn Eivins, Jacob Taylor, and Kenzie and Emily Eivins, several nieces and nephew’s, great nieces and nephews also many friends and cousins.
