Storm clouds threaten

Bethany, MO: Storm clouds last week threatened to end the area’s heat wave. With the storm making contact and dumping up to 5.3 inches of rain in Bethany the result was flooding in the lowlands around town, as the heat continued on. West 310th Place, just west of Bethany, saw the gravel road flood as the East Fork of Big Creek spilled from its banks.
