The Gilman City School hosted their Spelling Bee on Thursday, January 23rd. 6th grader, Hilea Nail, was the champion speller with the word, physician. 5th Grade Winners: 1st Place-Jonah Scarborough, 2nd Place-Clayton McLain. 6th Grade Winners: 1st Place-Hilea Nail, 2nd Place-Grady Webb and 3rd Place-Kainsley McCrary. 7th Grade Winners: 1st Place-Stormy Cannon, 2nd Place-Malory Chalfant, and 3rd Place-Reagan Crump. 8th Grade Winners: 1st Place-Mason Preston, 2nd Place-Abigail Clark, and 3rd Place-Paisley Taggart.
