Youth group raises awareness for homelessness

New Hampton, MO: 14 members of the New Hampton Christian Church’s Energized Youth Group spent a night living in cardboard boxes and held a fundraiser to help raise awareness for homelessness in our area. The group raised over $1,400, which they used to purchase around 900 pounds of food and other items that were then donated to the Harrison County Food Pantry.--Submitted photo
