Bethany, MO: Local quilters have been busy lately producing some nice pieces of art that are being given away as fundraisers. At the top, a quilt donated by the Prairie Queen Quilt Guild was presented to drawing winner Sheila Mohler, with her husband John. Proceeds from the drawing went to the Harrison County Senior Center. On the right, another quilt pieced by the Quilters Guild of Bethany will be offered for a drawing at the HCCH Fun Run on Oct. 21. Proceeds will go to the Harrison County Transportation Fund. The quilt was produced by Glenda Ellis with material donated by Judy Noyes of Stuart, Iowa, and backing by Sherry Bartlett Kaiser of Tampa, Florida.
