Bethany, MO: Thomas and Shontia Howard and Rutie Francom cut the ribbon officially opening the Beignet Me restaurant in the former Royale Hotel building Wednesday morning. Shana Burrows and Brian Carter of the Chamber of Commerce are holding the ribbon. The new café serves New Orleans’-style breakfast rolls and several coffee drinks. Howard said the restaurant will open at 4 a.m. each day to serve customers on their way to work through a take-out window.
