Lady Bulldogs take second at GRC track meet; S. H. tracksters to advance to sectional meet
Bethany, MO: The South Harrison track team traveled to King City last week for the Grand River Conference Track Meet on Tuesday, May 3. The South Harrison Lady Bulldogs took 2nd place during the meet with a final score of 84 points, and the South Harrison boys came in 7th with a final score of 38 points.
Record-breaking relay team: The South Harrison girls’ 100-meter relay team recently broke the school record for the girls’ 100-meter relay with a time of 51.85 seconds. Members of the team were Gabrielle Williams, Kylee Cannon, Abbey Henry, and Lily Wilson. The team broke the record while competing at the Eagle Relays in Bishop LeBlond on Tuesday, April 26.The team also took first place in the district relay event at King City, qualifying for sectionals.–Republican Clipper photo, Brady Sunderland
