Two out of state travelers pause to charge their electric vehicles at the new charging station that opened recently on 39th Street, north of the Dairy Queen. One of the drivers was going from Des Moines to Kansas City and the other was driving from Chicago to Colorado with his family. Both said they were happy to see a charging station on their route between Des Moines and Kansas City.
