Eleven North Harrison band students received awards for performing in the MSHSAA State solo/ensemble festival. This year the festival was virtual with students sending in recordings of their performances. The following awards were won: Gold award (top honor): Kadyn Hukill, Bass Clarinet solo; Karley Koch, Soprano Clarinet solo and Baily Briggs, Tuba solo.
Silver award: Katelyn Briggs, Alto Sax solo; Dillon Hartschen, Trombone solo and Kendall Kimbrough, Euphonium solo.
Bronze award: Percussion Quintet, Collin Briggs; Lola Breshears, Emma Craig, Halle Morgan and Haley Claycomb.
