Health Department receives donation: Baby care gift packages were presented to the Harrison County Health Department last week by the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League of the Hope Lutheran Church. Kathy Conger, left, of the LWML, made the presentation to Courtney Cross, center, health department administrator, and Sarah Linthacum, health educator. The LWML is participating in a world relief and human care project for the local community. The health department’s Women and Infant Children (WIC) program is observing national breast-feeding month through August.
