NEW HAMPTON, MO: Sharon Lea West, 82, New Hampton, MO passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at a St. Joseph, MO hospital.
She was born March 16, 1935 in New Hampton, MO the daughter of David Irvin and Fama Dilcy (Funderburg) Hill.
On July 11, 1964 she married Tim West in St. Joseph, MO. He survives of the home.
Sharon was a member of the New Hampton Christian Church of which she was an active member serving many Summer Vacation Bible Schools, Sunday Schools and dinners. She enjoyed listening to music and bird watching. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family and visiting with friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, infants, Marjorie and Marland, James Leston Hill and Willa Veigh Hartschen; and first husband, Billy Rex Clevenger.
Sharon is also survived by her daughter, Lisa (Joe) Eaton, Maryville, MO; son, Marty (Shannon) Clevenger, New Hampton, MO; grandchildren, Heather (Damon) Hunter, Tierney (Trevor) Nashleanas, Ashley Clevenger; great grandchildren, Taylor, Averie, Valor, Sylvie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, January 4 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Foster Cemetery, New Hampton, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
