Maureen Hope (Hunter) Beeks, 1934-2018
LIBERTY, MO: Maureen Hope (Hunter) Beeks, 83, Liberty, MO passed away Monday, May 21, 2018 at her home.
She was born on July 20, 1934 in Harrison County, Missouri the daughter of Earl and Carmeta (Wilson) Hunter.
Maureen lived in the Martinsville, New Hampton rural area most of her life. She graduated from Martinsville High School in 1952.
Maureen married Bobbie Beeks on August 18, 1951. After high school, Maureen went to be with her husband Bobbie in Amarillo, Texas where he was stationed with the United States Air Force.
After leaving Amarillo in 1955, they moved back to Missouri and lived most of that time in Liberty. In 1963 they moved to the Chicago area and lived most of that time in Wheaton, IL for 39 years. In 2002 they moved back to Liberty, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Leland Burl and Charles Hunter.
Maureen is survived by her husband, Bobbie; 2 sons, Kenneth (Trish), Dwight (Martha); 2 daughters, Sandra and Deva; 5 grandchildren, Jeff, Andrew, Claire Christine, Claire Renee, and Tyler; and 2 great grandchildren, Cade and Elise.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Allen Cemetery, Eagleville, MO. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Compassus Hospice and/or Liberty Fire Department in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O.
