TRENTON, MO: Linda Kay Sanderson, 48, Trenton, MO (formerly of Bethany, MO) passed away July 6, 2017 at a Trenton, MO hospital.
She was born May 29, 1969 in Marshalltown, IA the daughter of Robert Wayne Short and Carol Zaruba.
Linda took pride in attending local Alcoholics Anonymous meetings to support individuals overcoming their addiction. She attended 10th Street Baptist Church in Trenton and loved her time spent with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, T.J. Sanderson and fiancé, Timothy McClaskey.
Survivors include her mother, Carol Armstrong, Trenton, MO; father, Wayne Short, Illinois; brother, Jason Short, Polo, MO; daughter Stephanie (Tylor) Rumley, Leon, IA; maternal grandparents, Robert and Darlene Zaruba, Marshalltown, IA; grandchildren, Alainah, Aiden, Isabella; uncle, Chad (Tammy) Zaruba, Garwin, IA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 11 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
