BETHANY, MO: John William Findley, 63, Bethany, MO, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018 at his home.

He was born November 22, 1954 in Martinsville, Missouri the son of Vernon and Wanda (Geyer) Findley.

John was a graduate of South Harrison High School in 1972 and worked in maintenance for the City of Bethany. He was a talented craftsman with fond memories growing up on the river. He was a proud father and grandfather and was saved at the age of 9 in his home while listening to Billy Graham.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon “Fat” Findley; and his grandparents, Earl and Lola Findley, and Bill and Gladys Geyer.

John is survived by his daughter, Bridget (Rob) Maloney, Trenton, MO; son, Will Findley, Kansas City, MO; 2 grandchildren, Ross and Emmaleigh; mother, Wanda Findley, Ridgeway, MO; and 2 sisters, Becky (Scott) Adkins, and Jodi (Sherman) Stephens, both of Bethany, MO.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 9 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, MO 64424.
