EAGLEVILLE, MO: Edna Mae Hartschen, 81, of Eagleville, MO joined friends and family in heaven on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Northcare Hospice, North Kansas City, MO.
Edna Mae was born May 11, 1935 in Worth County, MO the daughter of Ruth (Gartin) and Walter Franklin Sowards.
On January 2, 1953 she married George Nelson Conn and was widowed July 19, 1954. Edna married Francis “Bud” Jones May 7, 1955. These unions blessed her with four daughters, Sonya Conn Pierson Barnes (Randy), Terri Jones Guilliams (Herb), Paula Beth Dayringer (Joe), and Mary Jane Jones.
On February 16, 2003 Edna married Charles Hartschen Jr. and his children joined the family; Brenda Hartschen Kerr (David), Kevin Hartschen (Jenny), and Tracy Hartschen (Shelly).
Edna is survived by her husband, Charles; children; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous friends and family.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4 at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
