CraigEverlytuxCraig Noland Everly, 55, St. Joseph, MO, passed away March 21, 2015, at the Mosaic Life Center.

He was born April 25, 1959 in Bethany, MO, the son of Kenneth L. and Neva Rose (Truitt) Everly. He grew up on a farm south of Bethany and was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church. He graduated from South Harrison High School in 1977. He attended the University of Missouri – Columbia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics in 1981. He spent 32 years bringing leadership and levity to the USDA as the Buchanan County Executive Director of Farm Service Agency, retiring in February 2015.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry H. and Aura (Courter) Everly, Charles R. and Lethen (Hann) Truitt, and his brother, Kent D. Everly. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, daughters Jane and Liz of the home, his parents, brother Brian (Michele) Everly and family, and sister Denise (Mark) Mauer and family.

He will be greatly missed by family and the multitude of friends he made over the years.

Memorial services were held March 25 at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home and Crematory in St. Joseph, MO.
