Bethany, MO: Cindy Kay Gentry, 58, Bethany, MO passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 at a Des Moines, IA hospital.
She was born May 13, 1960 in Macon, Missouri the daughter of Donald James and Elizabeth Irene (Shoemaker) Smith.
On March 3, 1990, she married Glen Gentry in Calio, Missouri. He survives of the home.
Cindy worked as a food service clerk for South Harrison Elementary School. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Church, Blue Ridge, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jeffrey Smith and nephew, Clare Guernsey.
Survivors in addition to her husband, Glen, are daughters, Melissa (Patrick) Miller, Bethany, MO and Kaley (Kyle) Cornett, Pattonsburg, MO; son, Payton Gentry of the home; 5 grandsons, Aiden Miller, Myer Gibson, Jackson, Tucker and Hank Cornett; sisters, Genia (Rodney) Ashenfelter, Pam and Sharon Smith; brothers, Steve and Darin Smith; several nieces and nephews; parents-in-law, Dale and Clara Belle Gentry and brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan and Vicki Guernsey and Rick and Christi Plymell.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 18 at Blue Ridge Church, Blue Ridge, MO under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO. Burial will follow in Miriam Cemetery, Bethany, MO. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany, MO.
