Living 50 Plus, a special section on services and products for senior citizens, appears inside this week’s issue of the Republican-Clipper.

The guide provides tips on safety, health and retirement saving for senior citizens. Vera Wheeler, who was selected as the queen of this year’s Bill and Liz Hogan Fourth of July parade, is profiled in a special article in the section. Vera worked at several businesses in the community over the years before retiring earlier this year from the Dollar General Store.

Look for the article “Vera: The lady in the aisle with a smile.”

The Clipper’s Angela Ragan was the coordinator of the special section. Thanks to all the businesses who supported this special project.
