Statewide tornado drill to be held on March 9
BETHANY, MO - The emergency alert system will be activated next Tuesday, March 9, as part of the statewide tornado drill, according to the National Weather Service.

The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill, Mo., will issue a test tornado warning at 1:30 p.m. as part of the drill. Local warning sirens, NOAA weather radios and the Emergency Alert System will be activated to signal the start of the drill.
